Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette for Summer

If you’re building your makeup wardrobe with all the essential eyeshadow palettes, don’t miss out on the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. It can be purchased directly on their website. In fact, this iconic palette comes in 12 warm sizzling-hot colours.

This has a mix of smooth shimmers, glittering metallics and silky matte tones of orangey, burnt-reddish hues. In simple, think of amber neutral shades, the kind of hues that you would see whenever you take a walk down a park during autumn.

Having said that, these shades compliment the essence of Summer so well. Why? They have all the popping neutrals and the rich, sensual hues.

Genius Packaging

Packaging-wise, it includes a large mirror and a double-ended brush. It has a hard-shell case and is very similar to the Naked Smokey Palette. Urban decay’s eye brushes are pure genius, and this time instead of having a shader and a blender, it has on both ends a bigger and a smaller blending brushes.

Did you know it took over a year to craft this masterpiece? For instance, the colour Chaser can be used all over the lid but still has an eye-popping warm tone to it. And the illuminating Ounce shade does the highlighting for you but you could also use it for intense smoking as well. With every stroke, your creativity could blossom.

Also, the organisation of the palette is very intentional. On the far left, you have your base eye shades. This can work as your highlight,all-over lid hues, and crease or transition color. On the right side, you’ve got the dark shades that help to define and edge up any look. Then in between, you have the choices that can make your eye look quite terra-cotta, butterscotch or burgundy.

Naked Heat Eye Shadow Palette Shades

This hot and sexy palatte is praised to look amazing on skin tone! A great win, isn’t it?

The shades are all brand-new colour shades. The textures are very creamy, velvety, super radiant and richly pigmented just like all the other Urban Decay eyeshadow formulas. This spicy range is also very easily blendable and give you the sunkissed goddess look in seconds!

Also, it can be a bit tricky at times to wear the bright oranges and red. But, in this timeless palette Urban Decay has added more darker shades such as cayenne or He Devil with some softer shades like ounce and chaser. This way, it’s easy to balance any look, it can be edgy, bold or excitingly simple.

In addition to that, this wildly versatile palette allows a smooth transition from your day to night look. And if you’re wondering, Naked Heat is paraben-free, sulfate-free, pthhalate-free and cruelty-free!

Naked Heat Breakdown

Base Shades

  • Ounce: Ivory shimmer. This is the lightest colour and can be used as brow highlighter in the inner corners because the shimmer in isn’t overdone.
  • Chaser: Light nude matte with a pink undertone. It is a warmer tone than ounce, and is a nice gradient from light to dark which is great. You could use this as an all-over-lid colour or use it blend things out.
  • Sauced: Soft terracotta matte. It is a light orangey colour, like clay almost. A beautiful warm colour than be used on the lid, as a transition hue or even buffed on the crease for an edgy look.
  • Low Blow: Brown matte. You can get generous with this one to look a bit moody or blend it out with a brighter colout for a sensational night-out look.

Shimmery & Matte Warm Shades

  • Lumbre: Copper shimmer with gold pearl. A lover of rose golds? This is made for you. Recreate any soft beauty looks easily with this. What’s more? You could dress up your lips by using this as a top coat on a darker lip colour. A perfect addition to any romantic beauty moments.
  • He Devil: Burnt Red Matte. This scorching hot hue is perfect for any bronzing, below-the-eyes accentuating and your classic complete glam needs.
  • Dirty Talk: Metallic burnt red. Think of this as a copper with lots of shimmer. So this is your bestie to create any tonal contrasts with a darker shade, to stand out in a bronzed look and to bring detail to any intensely spicy colour.
  • Scorched: Metallic Deep red with gold micro-shimmer. Here’s a more rosy version of the orangey Dirty Talk. If you want your eyes to pop up in seconds, this is the one. And like Dirty Talk, this does a great job adding more detail to any look.

Dark Shades

  • Cayenne: Deep terracotta matte. You’d be temped to eat it as it looks like chocolate (but DON’T). It’s deep brown colour with a hint of red. This is an all-rounder that can work for any glam purpose, including bronzing.
  • En Fuego: Burgundy matte. This one’s your mate for deep, dark cinnamon eyes or heavy smoking lids.
  • Ashes: Deep reddish-brown matte. Here’s your amazing choice to enhance eyes along the lids. Anything wild on your mind? And make this your partner-in-crime.
  • Ember: Deep metallic copper-burgundy. For all your chrome, heavy metallic makeover, use this glittery plum shade. So, with this, you are a brush stroke away from silkyfull-glitter eyes!
