Wireless earbuds are becoming increasingly popular as a convenient and comfortable way to listen to music and take calls on the go. With so many options available, it can be difficult to decide which pair is right for you. To help you make the best decision, we’ve put together a list of the top wireless earbuds on the market. We’ve taken into account sound quality, battery life, comfort, and price to give you the best recommendations for your needs.
JABRA ELITE 7 ACTIVE
Jabra’s Elite 7 Active earbuds have remained a top choice for many, thanks to their consistent quality over the years. These buds are the smallest and most comfortable I’ve ever tested, with a tiny case and rubber tips that keep them securely in place. Whether we are running around, wearing a hat, or doing chores around the house, they stay in place and are comfortable to wear.
The Sound+ app allows for customization of the hear-through level, so you can choose to let in more ambient noise if you’re running outside or washing dishes, or less if you’re in a gym. You can also customize the hearing profile for different types of music. Additionally, they are IP57-rated, meaning they are dustproof and can be submerged in water up to one meter.
These headphones boast an impressive 8 hours of battery life, and up to 30 hours when stored in the case. Additionally, the microphone is great for making calls.
JLAB AUDIO GO AIR SPORT
This is the ideal pair of wireless earbuds for anyone looking to break a sweat on a budget. With a sturdy case and built-in USB charger, they offer a solid 30 hours of battery life when recharged. The build quality is solid, and the touch controls are not too sensitive. The Bluetooth connection is strong, so you don’t have to worry about losing connection when you walk around a corner. Plus, they come in a wide array of playful colors. For the price, you just can’t find buds with this quality.
BEATS FIT PRO
This is good news, especially for avid Apple users, because users love it and find it to be great for everyday use. Also, they have comfortable ear tips and elegant fins, the Apple H1 chip for seamless pairing with Apple products. Along with a great app for Android with one-touch pairing, customized controls, and a fit test. Plus, the noise-canceling works well, and you can click a physical button on the buds to pause and let ambient noise in. Its sound signature is remarkably sculptured, allowing you to enjoy music in all genres, movies mixed in Dolby Atmos. If different colours interest you, they come in a signature Beats-style eye-catching purple (as well as coral, pink, and blue). For those on a budget, we also recommend Beats’ previous, and now cheaper, Powerbeats workout buds; they work reliably after years of heavy use.
AFTERSHOKZ OPENRUN PRO
If you want crystal clear sound technology, the OpenRun Pro will make you feel like there are a couple of tiny speakers near your ears.
However, these may not be the ideal choice for those looking to work or exercise indoors as they may disturb other people with ambient noise. However, they are comfortable and perfect for outdoor workouts. You can wear them while running, hiking, biking, skateboarding, or roller-skating with a helmet, and still be aware of my surroundings. The only downside is that they don’t come with a charging case, and the 10-hour battery life before recharging is shorter than the popular buds on the market.
JBL REFLECT AERO
The Reflect Aeros are the perfect headphones for runners who want to stay safe and alert while also enjoying their favorite tunes in perfect isolation. With active noise-canceling features like an ambient listening mode and the ability to turn ANC on and off, you can remain aware of your surroundings while also blocking out the honking, revving, and talking. Plus, the JBL Headphones app allows you to adjust the level of noise canceling that’s applied when ANC is switched on, or to activate an adaptive noise canceling mode that automatically adjusts the level of canceling based on the noisiness of your surroundings. You can also customise the touch controls to control volume, track playback, or ANC with a tap (and double- or triple-tap) on either bud. With the Reflect Aeros, you can have the best of both worlds—total awareness and total escapism.
JBL ENDURANCE PEAK 3
This is a great choice for outdoor workouts, offering an IP68 dust-ingress and waterproof rating, 10 hours of playtime in the buds, and an additional 40 more in the case. And the JBL app is easy to navigate and provides plenty of customization options. Despite their size, they don’t seal securely in the ear, which can affect sound quality. However, the buttons are also a bit sensitive, so you may find yourself skipping tracks unintentionally. Regardless, if you’re looking for a pair of buds that can withstand harsh conditions, the Endurance Peak II is a great fit.
SONY WF-1000XM4
Sony and high-quality sound devices go hand-in-hand always. And its sound quality is top-notch, the noise-canceling is improved, and they pick up your voice more clearly than ever before. Additionally, they feature wireless charging and an impressive eight hours of battery life. While they may be too bulky for running, they are ideal for lifting weights at home. Plus, if you have larger earholes, they fit you better. Our advice is to check if it would suit your ear in terms of size.
BANG & OLUFSEN E8 SPORT
For those considering an elite yet effective pair of wirelesss headphone, Bang & Olufsen has a stunning piece of art. You’d love how compact and low profile it is. Once again, check if it would fit your ear in terms of size as they are quite small. Then, the sound quality is remarkable and the level of customization is impressive. Also, you can choose from different listening profiles and adjust the audio transparency to your preference. Additionally, they are water-resistant and offer up to seven hours of battery life outside the case and 30 with it.
BACK BAY AUDIO TEMPO 30
Its construction is top-notch, they fit snugly, and the sound quality is so good. The sound quality is great as long as it’s not too high or if you’re far away from the phone. In terms of calls, the other person can hear you well but the caller might sound distant to you. Fortunately, they stay put when you move around.
